Face mesh
 

Hello friends,
With reference to my older post http://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/ans...h-grading.html
I am having a problem with face mesh. I need to have hexa-mesh for volumes therefore I am using Quad/Submap for the faces.
Firstly I have split the edges and meshed edges separately then I did the face mesh. Finally I got an irregular face mesh, don't know why. I have attached the pics. Kindly help.

split your face like that:

Thanks for the response. I will try in this way, but splitting in this manner will create extra edges on the face, will this effect my calculations?

the edges will be treated as internal, no worry
