Dear all,

I was trying to extrude a 2D mesh which works fine when in two dimensions but, when I extrude it, shows quite a few penetrating elements which sprung up from nodes which apparently did not have any problem.

I enclose the a picture of the 2D mesh and what I obtain once extruded

I tried to look it up but didn't find any possible solution and most of the users having similar problems were using a hexa mesh, which I can't use as I'm implementing dynamic mesh.

Thank you all in advance
