Asking to explain a simple concept when blocking and meshing.

Hello, ICEM experts.

I'm trying to make boundary conditions on my model by using ICEM.
But, there are something I need to understand.
After model geometry, I assigned blocks to make hexahedron mesh on my geometry and then a part 'SOLID' was made.

Could you exactly explain what is 'SOLID'?
Is it right that 'SOLID' represent the inner volume?

Thanks for your interest!

That is correct. Generally if it is solid it means inner volume and you delete it at the end of meshing before export.
