[ANSYS Meshing] Difficulty Meshing imported Tubular Chassis -- CFD Online Discussion Forums

abhishekgorai New Member Abhishek Gorai Join Date: Jun 2015 Posts: 1 Rep Power: 0	I need to run static analysis on a tubular chassis created in SolidWorks using Structural Member in Weldments. I have successfully imported the geometry as .step or .sat files. In any case, I cannot seem to mesh the body, with or without any mesh parameters changes. It either fails saying 'Mesh cannot be created with acceptable quality, try changing topology', etc or just gets stuck indefinitely while meshing.
