Prism Mesh
 

i'm generating Prism Mesh using ICEM CFD v13 for different configurations of a complex geometry (fighter aircraft) from last 2 years.

Requirments:

Prism layers----------38
initial height----------0.01mm
growth ratio---------1.2
growth law-----------exponential

Advanced prism setting :

stair steps-----------------disabled
do not allow sticking-------enabled
do checks-----------------enabled

Few times only i got prism mesh with above requirements in first attempt.

Most of the time , i have to juggle with ortho weight and fillet ratio and after 5 or 6 attempts only , prism mesh with above requirements generates .

Its kind of trial and error to get prism mesh.

How to set the optimum parameters so that prism mesh generates in first attempt??
