Hello everybody!

I have following problem:

I have a profile of wind tunnel in .txt ( x,y,z coordinates), I found only one way to import this profile into designmodeler - create a 3D curve and specify .txt file (#group #point #x #y #z). After creating body by revolve function I have successfully generated mesh, but when I'm trying to launch "setup" in workbench the following error happens

"System.ApplicationException: Application Error in CFX-Pre: ERROR
There was a problem importing the mesh from the requested file.
The importing process reported the following problem:

Model "Model" does not have a valid mesh associated with it.

Body B12 is an unsuppressed surface body that does not enclose
a volume. Only 3D volume meshes can be imported. If your model
contains valid bodies as well as surface bodies then suppress
the surface bodies and remesh before continuing."

So, the question is - how can I import the profile to DesignModeler and create valid body and then mesh associated with body?

Thank you for answers

are you working with ansys workbench? sometimes workbench (CFX-Pre) has weird hiccups when you change the geometry afterwards.
Workaround: Save the settings in CFX-Pre (*.ccl), close CFX-Pre, right-click on Pre in workbench and 'reset'.
then start pre again and import the ccl file.
