Hey,

Im trying to create a room with a box inside(heat source) and in the room there are two "windows" (one is a inlet and the other is an outlet).

Im currently using the design modeler.

How i'm creating:
-The room is a 7x7x7 m3 base on the origin of the first plane (0,0,0).
-The box dimension is a rectangular body measuring 2,0x1,0x3 m3. Located on the center of the room.
-The first "window is located on the XY plane and is 1,0x0,7 m2
-The second "window" is located on the top face and has the same dimensions of the first "window" and is located on the middle of the upper face.

My difficulties are:
-Make the mesh between the two bodies (heat source and the room).
-How do I make the design modeler knows the intersection between the inlet/outlet vents and the room?

I have attached a picture

1) you can make a boolean body transformation with the heat source as 'tool' so that only the 'air' in the room is meshed.
2) you can give the windows names ('named_selection') and define them as inlet/outlet/opening.
I'm not sure though, if I understood your second question correctly.

It feels like you are in the process to understand how CFD works. I recommend you do the tutorials to follow the steps from creating the model, meshing, pre- and post-processing.
