Default Problem with meshing a rectangular channel

Dear people,
I am new to using ICEM. I am having problem meshing a rectangular channel. The channel is having protruding surfaces inside. I completed the association of edges and points but results are same. The mesh is getting distorted because of some unknown reason.
Any help would be appriciated
