How can we control mesh quality?

Hi,

After mesh is completed, in statistics we can see what skewness, element quality and orthogonal quality are,

Which values are informative to control the mesh? are there any limits? (min and max)

And as orthogonal quality is low, what should we do? and which values are enough to be ok?

Moreover, we all know that when max. skewness is greater than 0.95 amd error will be exist in fluent, what should we do in similar way?

Last one is the element quality ,as we see the poor element quality, shall we mesh in that coarse field in that spot?

Thanks in advance for valuable information.

Check out the help section in Ansys or search this site you will find the answer to the question.
It has been discussed many times.

Suggestion: Next time you need answer to anything -> research it everywhere and if you are not able to find answer then only ask here!

which values are 'okay' also depend on your case. Sometimes you can accept some 'bad cells' as long as they're in an area that is not that important for your research.
So I would suggest you make a mesh for your case and do a mesh study - this is described in the FAQ. If you're still unsure about your mesh, come back an post detailed information about your case including screenshots of your mesh.
