Dear all,
I have a T junction that I am trying to mesh with Multizone method and consists of a T junction with the main pipe thicker than the lateral pipe. The Ansys file can be found here https://www.dropbox.com/sh/bcfi1yaza...OjKaqzzNa?dl=0 . I have seen a couple of good threads on this subject but unfortunately they are using a cross shaped geometry and not a T shape with different pipe diameters. I have been trying to split the geometry in many ways but none of them gave any result. Please give me some ideas how to mesh this in Ansys without ICEM (I do not have yet ICEM licence). Many thanks, C. |

Dear all,
I have now ICEM included in the Ansys license. I have given a try with the T junction. Not bad for a newbie but no matter what I have tried I have not managed to increase the quality of the mesh. Please take a look at the attached ICEM files and tell me what should I modify. Many thanks, C. |
