Lines do not snap to curvature in pre-mesh

Hey,
I want to mesh a cylinder in the flow. I O-grid it and associate the lines of the O-grid to the curves (see pictures). When pre-meshing it the mesh does not follow the curves but rather straight lines. Why is that and even more important how can I fix that? |

Sometimes this can happen in ICEM. You should first check under the pre-mesh that you didn't activate "no projection". In the model tree, under blocking, rmb on premesh and check that "project faces" or "project edges" is selected.
If this is already the case you can update the associations, under the blocking tab > associate icon > Update associations (6th icon) > apply. If this still doesn't solve your problem you should disassociate all the blocking from the geometry (disassociate all vertices, edges and faces) and start over again. Have fun |
