negative Determinant 3x3x3 after applying O-grid

Dear all,

I have been trying to mesh a T-junction with ICEM. The mesh without O-grid has bad quality so I try to use an O-grid as explained in many threads. The problem is that I get negative Determinant 3x3x3 after that. Could you please tell me what I am doing wrong? The geometry is made in Ansys DM. I have two days experience with ICEM.

Best wishes,
C.

I have found the problem. I have not Blocked properly the geometry so some edges have not been associated with the proper curves. As soon as I split the Block as it should be, the negative determinant problem is gone. I still have to figure out why boundaries defined as parts in ICEM are not imported in FLUENT. But this is another problem.

Many thanks, at least for reading,
C.
