hotboy,

from help section in Ansys:

Proximity Min Size:
"When Use Advanced Size Function is set to On: Proximity and Curvature, Proximity Min Size allows you to specify a global minimum size to be used in proximity size function calculations, in addition to specification of a global Min Size. By default, Proximity Min Size is set equal to the default of Min Size. You can accept the default or specify a value greater than 0."

Go to help section in Ansys and search "Proximity Min Size" and "Proximity Size Function", it explains the relationship and what proximity is.

Hope it helps

Cheers
KAPI
