Ansys workbench meshing

My domain is a cylindrical pipe of 5 meter long.I want to split it into three parts and want finer mesh in the middle part as a cone flow meter is placed inside at here. First and last part I want coarse meshing. Need help how to split domain for meshing with fine and coarse in Ansys 15 workbench.

first of all what kind of mesh you need?
structured or unstructured??

if you are happy with unstructured, then you can go with body sizing.

Hello.

First, go to the DesignModeler. Generate a new sketch with a rectangle, containing the part you want so separate. Extrude this sketch through your pipe using the operation "Slice". Got to your Treeview, select all bodies (three bodies now) and right-click "Form new part".

Got to ANSYS Meshing and define one methode for each part. If you want to generate a sweep mesh, you'll get an equal mesh over the cross section, but you can modify the number of divisions and it's bias to refine the mesh in pipe direction.

If you want a integral refinement in all directions, you should use a body sizing using the methode "body of incluence". Therefor, you should not use the operatione "Slice" in the DesignModeler. Use "Add frozen", no not create a new part and use the generated overlapping body as the refinement body.
