Hi...
I'm very new to ANSYS... I'm currently working on a project which is " CFD analysis of heat flow and airflow in a laptop." I'm in the initial stage. I've created the model of laptop which contains many rectangular block structures. I've done the blocking of the whole model. Then i used split blocking to separate the internal parts, but while associating and mesh generating it's getting very messy and I couldn't do a single thing right. Please help me here. Any kind of tips would be helpful. By the way my next step would be analysis in FLUENT. Thanks..... |

Your geometry looks very simple to block and mesh. Just cut the blocks at every point in all directions. Once the blocks are cut, you don't even need to associate the edges, ICEM will premesh just fine.
