[ANSYS Meshing] Need some advice to deal with mesh abnormality

Hi Experts,

I am currently new to CFD. I have this interface which looks like the pic 1.jpg. But there is this small little part as seen from 2.jpg that seems to be in the way. How can I merge the small part with the neighbouring one or resolve this issue?
I tried deleting the small section but there would be termination error once I export to FLUENT.
Any ideas?

can you attach your files here? (include .prj, .tin, and .blk files)
