Hi,

I have problem with the ansys design modeler. I imported a CAD geometry. Some of the CAD parts are connected with a edge on edge constraint. These leads to problems with the ansys design modeler. If I am trying to perform a boolean operation on these parts (e.g. unite two parts which are connected just by a shared edge) I get an error that the performed operation would create a non-manifold geometry. It is possible to increase the size of the parts (using extrude) so that they are truly overlapping and then the operation can be performed. However, I have a lot parts like this. Therefore, this solution is very inconvenient. Is there an easy way to repair the geometry? Repair sliver does not work.

Best

Arne
