Fluent meshing problem

Help needed to with meshing of a CFD simulation of combustion exhaust gas mixed with radial jet air stream down of a quenching region that essentially modeled with reference to the paper "CFD Analysis of Jet Mixing in Low NOx Flametube Combustors." by Talpallikar M.V., Smith C.E., Lai M.C. and Holdeman J.D. (http://gasturbinespower.asmedigitalc...icleid=1418419) My problem requires the jet air to be injected at a slanted angle of 3 degree and evaluate the effect on gases mixing and NOx emission.

I have tried to slice by surface to create a cylinder shape and 12 slanted injection slots. however, fluent doesn't recognise the cylinder as sweepable. Furthermore, when I attempt to use the multizone method with ICEM the hexagonal function expands beyond the boundary of the cylinder which happens similarly with the ogrid when I chose absolute with an offset of 1mm.

For further infomation, you can contact me through tyshuen@gmail.com.

Many thanks,

Kenneth
