How to merge two bodies which are not overlapping in Designmodeler

Hello,
I'm trying to merge several bodies into one in Designmodeler, but I cannot do it because they are not overlapping. I want to do this because in the ICEM I want them to be meshed as a whole. Now they are meshed into seperate volume meshes and I have to manually select all these volume meshes to create a new part.
I've tried named selection, but it doesn't work in ICEM, the volume meshes are still seperate.
Anyone knows how to do it in designmodeler? Or other ways to make these bodies be meshed as a whole?
Thank you very much!

You can use "Form New Part" in DesignModeler if you want ANSYS MESHING to create a conformal mesh in-between all parts. This is useful if you want to apply different mesh option to each part, sizing as an example. Otherwise, in DesignModeler, Create->Boolean, then use "unite" operation to merge bodies.

Thank you, but after meshed in ICEM, the volume meshes of different bodies are still separate. I still need to manually select the different meshes to put them into one part. There are so many bodies, thus many volume meshes, and the name of meshes are all like "created material XXX", it's so time consuming to select them manually. Is is a way to make these volume meshes automatically become one part.

A brutal solution could consist of translating (or transforming in some way) the bodies to reduce/eliminate the overalap.

Hi
I tried to do this but the Boolean option is greyed out. Do you might know why this is happening?

check weather contact with bodies are correct.
