Spiral Tube Meshing

I encountered a problem of meshing a spiral-shaped tube with ICEM. I think this problem is quite interesting and I'm hoping to discuss with experts in this forum.

I've attached a snap shot of the geometry and the mesh I'm having now. What I did was pretty conventional---create 2D block and sweep generate the mesh along the middle guided curve. However, for the ending for the sweep, I'm a strange shape as shown in the last photo. I've tried the "project to geometry" option, but this is what I got. I appreciate any input.
