I had a 3D Solid building model in Autocad. When I imported it in ANSYS Workbench 15.0 , it only shows surfaces in the geometry(thickness=0). To analize it, I need a solid model.
there are more than 2000 surfaces in the geometry.
HOw to resolve this problem? I need to solidify it.

PS: Providing thickness wont solve the problem, as for example providing thickness to a pillar will only thicken its surface, it will still be a hollow cylinder.

diamondx will become famous soon enough
Usually, when you import a geometry, look down at the option, you will get to choose what to import and how (frozen, add material, solid bodies)... play with this option until you get what you want. If you don't have solid bodies from your autocad geometry, you should probably create it there. or extract a fluid domain in design modeler

I am new to ANSYS Workbench.
All the objects just converted to surface, there were no surface bodies initially.
I tried Fill command, but it doesnt work on surface bodies. I even provided thickness to surfaces, but still it is of no help, fill command still doesnt work.
Moreover there are around 41000 surfaces, i just select each and every surface.
