DesignModeler question!!!!!!!!

Hello!
I am quite new in DM. I want to set up solid zone(on blade surface) and fluid zone ,but I dont know how to make it :confused:hope someone can help me:D |
create geometry and for both and use one as solid and other as fluid
I have created the flow passage by Autodesk inventor, but I cannot create the flow passage in Ansys modellar, what should I do? please...
To create Fluid model use the "Blade Modeler" option of Design modeler.
To activate Blade Modeler tool, you need to set the license preference in workbench to Blademodeler first and then to Design modeler (just sorting) Once set, you will get a dedicated tool to create Flowpath and Fluidzone. If you don't want the solid blade, then you can suppress it. Otherwise you can keep the solid blade as it is |

This is the flow passage...how can I export points and the blade in workbench please?
You have manually created the periodic surfaces of flow passage it seems and you have done it wrongly.
Use the method which I explained. Once you create the Flowpath in design modeler, then you export the points using "export point" tool. Once done, connecting a turbogrid component will automatically import the flowpath |
After doin' that, how can I define the blade?
Blade will be defined by choosing its surfaces (except the top and bottom surfaces) while using export points tool
Do you have pdf tutorials for any future problem? please
I successfully generated the flow path but the export points give error....I think it is due to the blade...any help?
What is the error?
The export points failed! I have tried many times ..I don't know what is the problem with the blade!
What is the error message?
Try increasing the Hub/Shroud offset % value in 'export point' tool option |
what does this do please?...I have drawn the hub and the shroud by projecting them from the blade by inventor so I have the same dimensions of the blade...do you think this is the problem?
ok I will check it out
