Hello friends,
I did 2D mesh and i want to transfer to setup, i'm dealing with a error. i tried to fix this error but i didn't fix.

Where do you think the problem may be?

If you can see, I send the files

Hello Amet,

did you use "convert to unstructured" to your structured mesh? Take a look at the context menu of Premesh. You need to convert the structured mesh to normal mesh elements, so that icem can use its mesh converters to produce a fluent (or whatever) mesh.

With regards,
Sebastian

Thank you for your reply Sebastian.
I used that but nothing has changed. Do you have another idea? I'm trying for days

well i can only guess.
Could you describe your procedure to get a mesh file?

Also, check your mesh file. It would be really small if there are no cells inside. Is it the case?

Did you select the proper dimensions while exporting, 2D or 3D? fluent cares about it, (but it would send a different error, afaik).

Though, there are some lines of text with loaded nodes in your screens...

Maybe test your procedure with a quick geometry, a simple meshed square.

With regards,
Sebastian

Sebastian, thank you for your helpfulness.

I checked that you say. Firstly, i exported my geometry file (previously i used ansys workbench) then i started icemcfd and i import geometry file and i made mesh. I exported mesh file. Mesh file size (.msh) is 22mb. When I import this file fluent, this time I was confronted with a different error. (I sent attachment ss)

Also, i sent you geometry and mesh files with private message

I selected dimension(2D)

At the moment, I'm trying a simple geometry testing

Daniel_Khazaei will become famous soon enough
Here you are:

1) create blocking.
2) split the block around the object.
3) split using O-grid to adjust the boundary layer.
5) delete the blocks inside the object.
4) don't forget to associate the boundary edges to boundary curves specially in 2D problems!

you can refine it to your desired resolution
