Long pipe, longitudinal inflation

Hi!

I'm working in a long pipe, I've developed an O-Grid for it, so that the cross section has a proper mesh, but now I want it to have a longitudinal inflation in one specific direction (X direction).

How could I do this?

Hello Sebastián,

I assume you have generated a blocking (structured mesh). Then, this should be easily done by setting edge param(eter)s on edges aligned with x direction. Have a look under Blocking->Pre-Mesh-Param->Edge Param. Check the help for more information.

I suggest you to do some tutorials of icem provided in the tutorial guide, start with "Hexa Mesh Generation for a 2D Pipe Junction"

With regards,
Sebastian
