Hi,

I am attempting to insert a geometry into WB from NX while keeping parameters. Similar to http://www.ansys-blog.com/create-ans...selections-nx/

However when I do, no parameters are able to be found and no name selections either. I have the set the correct filters for both.

I have tried selecting 'Independent' and 'All' for parameters (Im using 17.1 and it is not just a check) and still no luck.

I have defined my parameters in the expressions tool in NX and my named selections in the NS Manager as well.

Any help as to why I cannot import my parameters and named selections?

After hours of trying to figure out what was causing this I solved it by running CAD Configuration Manger. Before, I assumed I wouldnt need to run it as it was importing the CAD fine.

if you are only importing geometry then you can dont need CAD configuration manager but if you want to import parameters and NS then you do need to have connection between two!
