Suggestions needed for meshing axial flow pump with thin tip gap

I don't have too much experience with meshing. I'm using ANSYS meshing. I want to simulate the flow in axial pump with 0.01 inch tip gap (the distance between stationary wall and rotational blades. I learned that I need to use inflation for boundary layer ( the stationary wall). For this thin gap, how to set up the inflation parameters appropriately to capture the fluid around the blade? Do I also need to use inflation for the rotational boundaries (the wall of blades and hub)? Which meshing software is easy to pick up for beginner? Thanks a lot!
