I am sending you some pictures to ask maybe a simple or not possible question. So included in the png file 'basic internal tube' is a picture of the surface of the internal tube surrounded by the blocks I have already made. My strategy is to block the internal tube first and then create an ogrid where I will associate the outer edges to the outside of the external dilator. Then I will create splits of the o-grid and associate them to the inside wall of the external dilator and outside wall of the inner tube. I am not able to complete this task yet, because when I start to associate blocks to the top of the internal tube the blocks begin to overlap each other. For example, in jpeg file 'side profile of blocking internal tube' at the top, you can see the blocks overlap and I can't merge them together.


When I am thinking about this problem I try to imagine the blocks as a grid of 3 rows and 6 columns. All of row two needs to be associated with the internal tube. As I get to the top, my block gets rotated and overlap. (see jpeg file '18 blocks')


How could I get the final block associated to the top of the internal tube, without causing overlap? Some options I will try in the mean time: deleting blocks that will be outside of the internal tube and vessel (top left corner, see jpeg file 'full geometry with initial blocking strategy'), merging vertices to create a common node, or start an alternative blocking strategy with more splits.


Please let me know your thoughts.
