Hello,

I would like to create a mesh similar to the one in the picture attached, so far I couldn't get one similar, could someone walk me through the process to obtain it in Ansys meshing or ICEM ?

Thank you

And so what? It's simple tetra mesh with inflation.

I have a NACA0012 with zero trailing edge thickness, ansys meshing didn't give a good mesh using tetra mesh with inflation, what i want to do is mesh the surrounding area of the airfoil with quad elements and the rest with tetra , however in ICEM the connections between the elements of quad zone and Tri zone are not aligned and tetra cells are more concentrated around leading edfe and trailing edge .

Like He said it's a simple unstructured mesh. Its not quads you see in the boundary layer. It is prisms. First generate the tris. And then add inflation layer using prisms ( this is the quad layer you are talking about)

Is there any tutorial available to this in ICEM ?
