Hi everyone,

I'm havin a hard time editing a mesh. I did some changes on an existing geometry, updated the mesh, changed a little bit the named selections, and then exported a new .msh file.

But when i look at the texte of this .msh file, in the end, (where the interfaces are) i read to lines that are very confusing to me :

(45 (97 wall extmixed-fcuve-varcuve)())
(45 (98 interior extmixed-fcuve-val_tireslat-varcuve)())

You can see here 3 named selections that i defined or were defined before :
* extmixed-fcuve (already existing before)
* varcuve (alredy exixting before)
* val_tireslat (that i defined)

varcuve and val_tireslat are two body selections. extmixed-fcuve is a face selection (it is the major part of my outer boundary)

I'm normally supposed to end up with just a "wall extmixed-fcuve" (that's how it was before). I can't figure out what's wrong

I attach some pictures so that you can see better wha'ts going on.

Help please !

Hello Sir,

I am new to gambit and want to know the basics of meshing like what interval count should I use? Difference between interval count and interval size. Grid independent study.

Can you please help? I am highly interested in CFD. Also is Gambit 2.4.60 valid these days to draw the geometry?

Kindly reply.
