Hi,
I've got complicated cylinder-like geometry and I want to create a line, that goes through the middle of entire geometry. Do you have any idea, how I could do it? I haven't found any helpfuf tools in the program. I'm thinking about creating the line with several stages: 1) creating several intersection faces 2) creating mid-points on these faces 3) creating a 3Dline from these points but this is very work-around and might be inaccurate. Please give me some advices. Regards, Destroy |

right, but I want to make a curve, that will be some kind of symmetry. Every point of this line will be equally distant from the boundary

you want to make a line or curve?
thr is option to create curve as well choose your coordinate system as such to have equal distance from boundary sorry i cant help without looking at your geometry or may you need to explain it more |

Here you can see the geometry with the coordinate system. I want to create a curve that will go through the domain (the red curve which I painted by hand). |

may i ask why you need to create a line thru this solid cylinder?
are you going to draw something else inside? |
