I would like to ask about naming of the dimension in Ansys Geometry Engine i.e DesignModeler.

I have created a circle and assigned a diameter it a few times. Now there is only one diameter on it but its name is D4. How can I change it to D1. This is very strange for me.

Thank you.

These names are assigned automatically and you can not change them. Please ignore them (or if the naming is essential for some reason then stop deleting them but this is not the intended usage).

The same naming scheme is used for operations, for example booleans or slices, as well as in other ANSYS products.
