Periodicity in ICEM
 

Hello everybody,

I am trying to create periodicity for a simple geometry in icem.

First of all, I want the periodic walls to be the surfaces that are created from the numbers ( 25 26 42 41) and (21 22 38 37).
The geometry will be rotated in the Z axis for 360 degrees.

My question is simple. Which vertices shall I choose for the periodicity?

Hi gdimitirs,

select every vertices with the respective twin in the other periodic boundary.

Assuming, you have a segment of a cylinder you would connect 21 and 25, 41 and 37, and so on.
