I cannot understand the logic lying in the meshing opertion. Why do meshes appear different in edge meshing and face meshing. What is the main difference between face meshing and edge meshing? What is the difference between hard and soft meshing?

When you use edge meshing, you force ANSYS to generate the mesh according to the number of divisions you input at the edges.
