I cannot understand the logic lying in the meshing opertion. Why do meshes appear different in edge meshing and face meshing. What is the main difference between face meshing and edge meshing? What is the difference between hard and soft meshing?

Thank you.

When you use edge meshing, you force ANSYS to generate the mesh according to the number of divisions you input at the edges.

Answer to Soft and Hard behaviour: difference between hard/soft behavior in sizing in ANSYS meshing?

I have read it. But it was not an adequate explanation.

Thank you.
