I need to change the element type as solid 95 in ansys workbench to mesh my model. For that I browsed and identified that it is possible through the insertion of commands. I inserted a command line as ET,1,solid 95 in the command, just below the part in pre-processing section. It showed green color tick. When I meshed, the command I inserted is not executed. If someone gives a proper information on how to change the element type from default selection in workbench through command or some other means, it will be very much helpful to me.
Thanks |

Hi vpvmech.
Did you find the solution. I am also stuck in the same place. I need to add solid 5 and solid45 to my model. Could you explain how to do it. With regards Justin |

right click on the body you want to change element type under the geometry tree, insert command "et,matid,solid45" or "et,matid,solid5"
it should work. |
