Unable to open model in workbench

Hi
Actually, I have a probelm
I am begineer at ANSYS 18,that's why my question is very simple
I have cretaed a geomentry part in workbench, but as I clikced on model, I receive Errors saying that " the following component need attention before procedding"
I do not know how to mesh my geomentry in modle section

hi, try to ubdate the model after you finished.
thanks...

I have drwan a shape in Geometry and it's finished in Spance Claim
I just mimimize that window and then click on model but I receive Error
Sorry my question is too simple
Thanks

did you get a green tick mark in the fluid flow module tree?
if you didnt get you just right click the geometry and ubdate the model.

The problem is I cannot even go to the model part
I have creted geometry in workbench then I minimize the window and in the project page I clikced on steady state thermal part and then model but the model part has not shown up
I do not know what to do

actually i cant able to understand your question. i think you are doing some basic mistake. you try to open a steady state thermal module project first and then create a design in the geometry area. then try to open a model for meshing.
for example
steady state thermal
1.geometry
2.model
3.solver
4.solution
5.result
you can see this all in steady state thermal module.

How can I import the geomtry cretaed into the model part ??
SHOULD I just exit the geometry and then click on model?

Rajaero August 14, 2017 03:47

you can design a model in any other cad software and save the file parasolid xt or igs. then you right click the model then import it. after import the model you must open the space claim and save your model in the format
.scdoc. tghen go for meshing.

i think you see some tutorial videos in youtube or try to read a ansys tutorial.
thanks...
