find out the number for the line/surface/volume I just created

Hello everyone

I'am working on a Design modeler geometry automation with Jscript and I am looking for a fast way to find the number for each volume, edge or face that I created on design modeler.

The purpose of this automation is to calculate (with FLUENT) a large number of different geometries for the specific "mechanical part" I am working on it. The Jscript create the geometry and with ACT and python I command and create the meshing.

In a step of my Jscript Code I have to blend and merge some specific edges and faces. The problem is that I have more than 500 faces and 1000 edges on each geometry and select the right edge/face is a little bit complicated...

Before the blend and merge I search their number manualy on design modeler but its very long...

So does it exist a button on design modeler to know the detail AND the number of the edge/face/volume selected?

Or maybe a code on Jscript could help me?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Best regards
