Hello,
in all Ansys tutorials I have seen for symmetrical bodies, they first build up the model for an whole body (airfoil, vehicle) and then they used Tools --> Symmetry to "cut" the body. Is it also possible to only create half of the body (wing) and defining afterwards in Fluent the symmetry boundary condition? For Example: Body Symmetric to x-z-plane. So when I leave Design Modeler my model has no surfaces in the x-z (y=0) middleplane. Is this correct? So I can look into the "hollow" wing. Thanks |
