Meshing 2D rectangles.

1 Attachment(s)
Hi,
I was facing some challenges meshing a 2D geometry and wondering if there is GURU that can help me.:confused:
The geometry is\ basically 3 rectangles all of length 30m (30000mm). The widths are 150mm, 0.4mm and 0.2mm respectively. The problem is the meshing software is not putting any nodes on the smaller rectangles (i.e. 04mm and 0.2mm).
I tried edge sizing functions to fix the number of divisions I get on these edges, however, it only works on the edge (i.e. I am unable to sweep these divisions along the length of the rectangle) as shown below in the image attached.
Thanking you guys in anticipation

Hi,

You should have a look at the defeaturing edge size under the mesh sizing tab and be sure that it's lower than your minimal edge length.
