No airflow on the side of a Wing

Hello everyone,
I want to simulate a rear wing of a car. To reduce the mesh, I simulate only 10% of the wing broadness.

The problem I have: I don't want the air to flow on the side of the wing, the air should just flow about and below the wing. How can I get this boundary conditions? The enclosure only takes values of >0...

Is it possible with symmetry settings? I haven't found any solution.

PS: 2D isn't possible because of irregularities on the wing.

thanks in advance

Hi Thomas,

Well you could still use the enclosure tool with an arbitrary value for the out of plane domain you don't want (>0). Then create 2 planes at both extremities of your wing geometry and slice the enclosure. You can then suppress those parts and you'll end up with what you're looking for.

Have fun ;)
