Hi, I have a question regarding the geometry import into ANSYS workbench. When I export an assembly (sheet metal assembly by the way) from Solidworks into IGES, and then import it into workbench, I found there are hundreds of surfaces being generated. But if I export each part of the assembly from Solidworks into IGES, and then import each of them separately into workbench, everything works fine. there is only one solid for each part. So why is that? Anyone can help?

Hi Ray,
When you import your IGES, you should review your default import options in Design Modeler under the imported part in the tree outline > Stitch Surfaces > Yes Have fun |
