Not so pretty Inflation on a curved surface
 

Hello,

I'm an undergraduate student, and trying to do some analysis on high-speed trains.

Now, my problem is the inflation doesn't seem so pretty on the curved surfaces like the nose of the train.

I'm not even sure if that's normal for the inflation to become wider as the boundary layer gets curved.

I'd appreciate if you could provide some advice on this.

Hi Eric,

You need to play with the inflation options (i.e. total thickness option or first layer height). If you want to have more control you can also slice your geometry and add edge sizing with bias for your boundary layer.
