[DesignModeler] Problem with body cut using surface extension!

Dear All,

I want to cut a body using extension of a surface. As you can see in the picture, I need to overlap two edges, so I need to use cut tool.
I don't know if this is possible in Ansys Design modeler or space claim environment. Anybody has any advice?

Hi Malekan,

You can simply extend the cutting surface using the pull tool in SC. Then use the combine tool to cut the target body with the previously extended surface.

Hi Malekan,

Happy it helped. You can also use the imprint face option and then pull the other surface out to slice the material
