2D t 3D rotating problem

Good day dear CFD-online Forum,

I came across a problem I have difficulties solving on my own. I'm still an Ansys ICEM beginner, so please excuse my ignorance.

After blocking a 2D geometry I made several blocks to free type blocks to change their meshtype from hexa to all tri with the >Blocking>Edit Block>Convert Block Type tool and until this point everything is still fine. But now I wanted to rotate the structur with the >Blocking>Create Block>2D to 3D tool with the rotate option. Those 'free blocks' turned now into 'swept blocks'. Nothing wrong with that, but the premesh from the new surface created through the rotating is pointing near the left bottom corner, while the original surface has a fine premesh. And only with the swept blocks, the blocks I didn't made free type turned out perfect.

I tried various things to solve this Problem, at first I though it was the association, so I remade that. After that I thought maybe the blocking? But even after that nothing changed. Strangely even with a new kind of blocking the premesh was pointing to the same spot near the left bottom corner... Even >Blocking>Associate>Update Associations didn't work for me and sadly I couldn't find any forum post that could help me. So I had hoped, maybe this way I will find an answer.

With kind regards
Rivuaiasan

Edit: I found the culprit, the devil lies in the Detail, sadly I don't know how to delete this thread

Instead of trying to delete the thread,
would you mind posting the solution?

It might be helpful for other users.

Well it wasn't really a problem with ICEM, but with my blocking. I had made a block type free in one corner and forgot about him, while rotating from 2D to 3D he broke my whole mesh. After deleting that block everything worked fine :)
