Hi,

When I create prism layers, I chose post-inflation but it seems the pre-inflation is done, as shown below.

However, if I reload the volume mesh and create prism layers again, the post-inflation will be executed.

I am really confused.

This is a known bug (at least for me).

While post inflation is set when you open this menu, it performs the pre inflation for some unknown reason.

What helps is to select the different options to re-initialise ICEM. So:
1) select pre inflation
2) select post inflation
3) Then perform the prism-generation.

I think it has been fixed in 18.2.

Thank you for your kind reply.

Which inflation approach has better performance, pre or post?

Both methods are fundamentally different. Read the manual for more details.
I have no experience with Pre. I always use Post.
