Hi, and thanks in advance.

Ok so, I have manually created blade, hub and shroud curve (for a radial turbine) files. They import fine, and I can mesh them no problem on turbo grid.

HOWEVER, I have noticed that Turbogrid is assuming that the outlet of my mesh is the inlet, and vice versa.

This error when carried forward to CFX means that the inflow block is at the wrong end, and as is the outflow block.

Does anyone know how i can fix this? Perhaps there is manual way to define these ends in turbogrid that I am unaware of, or is there perhaps something else.

Kind regards,

Ok I figured it out.

Incase someone else also comes to this error, the fix is to check the hub and shroud curve files and make sure the curve direction is towards the actual outlet (specific to radial turbines)
