Actually i am studying and pressure drop of a Moog's 62 servovalve model but i can't properly mesh the extracted fluid domain because of its complex shape.any idea on how to approach it ?I uploded some pictures of the geometry and the fluid domain link's file lower . thanks in advance family.

Impossible to figure out based on 2 figures.
I would say you need a tet mesh with prisms (not hex at least). Go for ICEM. Maybe not the best quality grid, but I consider this as quite forgiven for bad/difficult CAD. So at least you get a grid, so you can get started. That is better than no grid. You could ask a specialist. See the CFD-freelance forum. |
