Match Control Error

1 Attachment(s)
Hello, I am currently a Student and am using the student version of Workbench 19.0. I have created a Tidal Current Turbine blade an also created a fluid domain around the blade. I was able to mesh the fluid body but when I try to use Match Control to make the 2 faces of my fluid body the same, I get an error saying "The meshing algorithm cannot find matching topology. Please verify the topology and the position as well as the orientation of any associated coordinate systems."

I have gone back into geometry and verified that the geometries are identical and both around the same coordinate system. Any help would be appreciated as I am new to the program.

The two faces are probably not identical even though they seem like it
activate the "show vertices" in ansys meshing, see if there are any extra vertices. you can also go to Spaceclaim and look for split edges.
if the two faces are part of a revolved body, make sure it was made using revolve function.
you can also try using virtual topology within ansys meshing, play with it with different setting until both faces and their edges have been replaced. it might fix the problem
