Meshing a disk with spherical indentations

I am trying to mesh the fluid region around a disk with multiple spherical indentations on one surface of the disk in ANSYS Meshing. This problem is similar to the periodic hill problem (nasa project), especially when it comes to meshing. I already read in the forum that this (periodic hill) was solved in ICEM CFD. As I have zero experience in ICEM, i wanted to mesh my disk with ANSYS Meshing. So far I haven't found any solution to mesh the indentations properly. I want to use a structured hex mesh in the boundary layer of the disk. I especially want to resolve the regions in the indentations. The indentations are very shallow (that's the big difference to the periodic hill problem) and are generated on the disk in DM with a primitive sphere and the cut material option. That's why I have not many edges to select for sizing the mesh within the indentations.

Is there any possibility to generate a proper structured hex mesh in ANSYS Meshing which takes those indentations into consideration or has anybody an idea how I can size the mesh in the fluid region of the indentations? Maybe creating the indentations in a different way (to get more edges), but how?
Or maybe another idea how to solve this problem?
Is it possible in ANSYS Meshing at all or do I really have to use ICEM?
