How Fluent calculates layers in First layer thickness

Hi,

I am performing a boundary layer mesh around a circumference. I selected the Inflation option with the following parameters:

Method: First layer thickness.

First layer size: 0.01 mm
Max. number of layers: 40
Growth rate: 1.2

I realised that, depending on the number of elements that the circumference is divided, that extent of the inflation layer changes. For example, if I divided my circumference into 60 or 120 elements, the inflation layers extent radially 43 mm and 19 mm respectively. Maybe it has something to do with the aspect ratio of the first layers.

Anyone knows how fluent calculates the layers in this methods?

Thanks,
