Hi,

I want to split a hollow sphere with narrow thickness in different angles with respect to meridian. How can I do it in Gambit?

I don't want to split this hollow sphere in specified point in form of inclined. I wan to split it as follows (is created smooth surfaces):

I am grateful that guide me in this case.

Thanks.

I would create a point outside your sphere on the (Oy) axis (point A)
Then create a copy of this point A via rotation of desired angle around (Oz)-axis (point B)
From point B create its symmetric in respect of Plane (YZ) (point C)

BC lies on Plance (XY)

Expand point B and C along Z>0 axis (Points D and E)
Same along Z<0 (Points F G)
Now you are able to create Surface (DEFG)
Split your sphere with this surface
That's it

They are other ways, but with this one you use the angles
